Tim Belsan is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Supra AI, where he equips organizations and leaders to understand and responsibly harness artificial intelligence. A seasoned litigator, executive, and educator, Tim brings a unique blend of courtroom experience, strategic leadership, and teaching expertise to his trainings.
He spent more than a decade at the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as a first-chair litigator and later as a Senior Executive, handling complex civil and criminal matters across the country. He also led major enforcement actions at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Beyond the courtroom, Tim has trained thousands of professionals—lawyers, executives, and law enforcement leaders—through his roles as faculty at DOJ’s National Advocacy Center, adjunct professor at the George Washington University Law School, and instructor in numerous professional education programs.
Tim’s work has earned him multiple national awards, including the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service. A graduate of Washburn University School of Law, he clerked for the Hon. Deanell Reece Tacha, former Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Steve Platt is the co-founder and Chief Training Officer of Supra AI, where he helps organizations design responsible, compliant, and client-focused legal AI programs. He pairs deep enforcement experience with hands-on teaching and policy work in several legal fields.
Steve has served as Senior Litigation Counsel in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Enforcement Division, leading investigations and litigation involving fair credit, debt collection, and Military Lending Act compliance. Previously at the U.S. Department of Justice, he advanced from Trial Attorney to Senior Litigation Counsel and Acting Unit Chief, leading a team of nine attorneys and litigating in federal district courts and courts of appeals. He has developed and delivered trainings to multiple executive agencies, and his work has been recognized with the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service, the Civil Division Perseverance Award, and Civil Division Special Commendations.
Steve has taught and mentored law students as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University Law School since 2022. He serves on the Minnesota State Board of Continuing Legal Education, volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers Network’s Housing Court Clinic, and holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Before engaging in the practice of law, Steve held many jobs, including as a commercial bus driver and bouncy house attendant at a High-A minor league baseball stadium.
